Taiwan's Model-actor Godfrey Gao 高以翔, 35, has died after collapsing while filming a variety show filming Chase Me.

Godfrey Gao was a Taiwanese-Canadian model and actor, noted as the first Asian model to appear in a campaign for Louis Vuitton. Godfrey Gao was known for his roles as Magnus Bane in the 2013 film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and for his leading role in Chinese television series Remembering Lichuan. 
On 27 November 2019 at about 1:45 am, Godfrey Gao collapsed while running when he was in Ningbo filming Chase Me, a sports reality television series broadcast on Zhejiang Television. A blogger posted screenshots of a conversation on WeChat allegedly with a crew member of the production, who said that Godfrey Gao had not been in good shape and had only participated in the running part.
