Today I would like to introduce what I called as Growth Force 张力 “ZhangLi” created by the Stems and Branches. The growth force is a form of pulling force within the same elements which reveal at the Stems and sit at the Branches.

You can use Growth Force 张力 “ZhangLi” to quantify your elements and your 十神 and make a solid conclusion of the outcomes. He was born on the 9 Dec 1949 in the 申 Shen monkey hour. WEAK Self 
OR STRONG Self 
If this is a strong self, fire (财才) is his useful Ten Gods 十神. Earth (官杀) produces metal making it unfavorable to some extent. This is a bad BaZi and he would have a very poor quality life. If this is a weak self, metal (印卩) and water (比劫) are his useful and favorable Ten Gods 十神. This is a very good BaZi. He would be very successful in his life. By using the “Three compete 三審”, 癸 born in 子month, 子 丑 combined earth 杀, with 丙 fire closely produce 己 earth 杀, earth is strong. At the same time 子 申 half combo water 比. In order to decide strong or weak self (daymaster), one have to decide either子 丑 combined earth 杀 or 子 申 half combo water 比 is stronger. Now how to determine if this is a strong or weak daymaster? There is not point to argue whether 子 丑 combined earth 杀 is stronger or 子 申 half combo water 比 is stronger. Now we use Growth Force 张力 “ZhangLi” the pulling force in order to determine strong or weak daymaster and his Useful Ten Gods 喜用神.
