When looking at your BaZi, first look at your TaYun for wealth. If you cannot find them in your TaYun, then look into the years. TaYun governs 10 years and for years only one or two years, you will not be very wealthy and it will not last.

When you meet with your wealth stars, for office workers, you will see sudden surges of your pay, for business owners, you will have more orders and for investors you will see good returns. Note: Please take note that even if you have strong wealth but without support and your wealth stars are under a lot of pressure, wealth will not come and/or wealth comes and go. Now, let’s take look at his BaZi four pillar of destiny. 
1974 GuiMao 癸卯 TaYun he was making a lot of money. 1994 RenYin 壬寅 TaYun was an even more wealthy TaYun for him - wood was strong. Now come the question, Geng 庚 metal born in Wei 未 month, is “DeLing 得令” meaning this is a weak day master. For weak day master, metal is his wealth and not wood. Metal is weak in his chart and in his 1974 GuiMao 癸卯 and 1994 RenYin 壬寅 TaYun, metal was very weak. But in reality he became very rich in these 2 TaYun. The fact is that wood is his wealth.
