Dear Master
I bought my apartment in 1999. The apartment was completed in 1998
and I am the second owner. I have done these renovations in Dec 2007 :
painted entire apartment, renovated the entire kitchen including
changing of stove/oven, changed all the doors except the main door,
changed some wash basins.
The house should be a Period 7. Do my actions change it to Period
8. The period changed in 2004, but in 2006-2007 my luck was very good.
Since 2008 it has turned bad?
What can I do? On your site, I found the stars to be just 2 from previously 4.5.

From your description (changing the cooking stove), you have turned your house into a period 8 house. That is the reason why sometimes I recommended people to fix the cooking stove and not to change it. It is better for some house to be remained in Period 7. Changing to period 8 will have bad effect for example for those house facing NE3. This is a very typical error that many people did, but the effect cannot be reversed. Now you have to rely on putting up feng shui arrangements in order to counter the bad effects. There are some feng shui arrangements on this site that you might want to try. You might also want to check out your Bazi destiny. It always come very coincidentally no matters you like it or not. Cheers, Peter |

Many thanks Master Yap. Based on my simple compass and using your site's tool, and adjusted to Period 8 house, I have 4.5 stars. Hope my situation improves. Huo Hai star resides at my main door (only one exit) - can using 6 old China coins with red string suppress? Thanks again |

I am not clear what you meant by "adjusted". The name "Huo Hai" is only scary but it will not do much harm under normal circumstances and usage. Cheers, Peter |

I had meant my apartment should be a Period 7 and I assumed that its now Period 8, and thus adjust to read as that on this website tool (the house fengshui tool) |
