Greetings Master, I have some questions that have left me concerned and confused. We are moving to a southwest 1 period 8 house. My concern is the flying stars at Front door, Center and back of house are all a mixture of doubles of 8s, 2s and 5s. Example: front door is (5,5,8) center is (2,8,5) and the back is (8,2,2) I have heard about the parent string affect and that it is a good star format. My question is how does the parent string not contradict the theory of bad stars 2 and 5? Would I need to suppress or activate those areas to get best results? I’m actually worried and anxious knowing how bad those stars are! Please help! Regards |

Period 8 facing SW1 SouthWest 202.6°-217.5° Gen house 艮宅 ChouWei 丑未 is not 父母三般卦 but still a good setting to begin with. 父母三般卦又称天地父母三般卦 Cheers.

Oh it doesn’t? That’s very interesting. I have read that the line that crosses from front to back of house having 5s , 2s, and 8s adds to the number 10 which in period 8 translates to the parent string. This is very confusing! As you have in the eight mansion this house has five stars. Master can you please eleborate on the parent string please. How does that actually work? Regards

父母三般卦 is when all sector is 1,4,7 or 2,5,8 or 3,6,9. like for Period 8
facing SW3 SouthWest 232.6°-247.5° Gen house 艮宅 YinShen 寅申 where 3 period 上中下, upper, middle and lower period interact to form auspicious Qi. Even when Up Mountain Down Water 损才伤丁 houses given that your environment allowed it your house Fengshui can improve in both wealth and health. For Period 8 facing SW1 SouthWest 202.6°-217.5° Gen house 艮宅 ChouWei 丑未 you can only use 催官水 CuiGuanShui to improve your house luck given that your environment allowed it. Cheers

So master Peter, does this mean even if SW3 period 8 house has only 1 Star, still makes it very auspicious? |

SW3 period 8 house has only 1 Star in this it is not good but if the environment allowed, with the 父母三般卦, it gets some extra points but it still cannot be very auspicious. If you are looking for new house it is still better to avoid this type of house. Cheers.
