Both house Gua and personal life Gua all has their own 8 mansions. I understand 8 mansions for house gua is always about locations. Is a 8 mansions for personal life gua about directions? For example, my personal life gua is 4 Xun and 8 mansions are i.e. SE is Fu Wei, E is Yan Nian, NE is Jue Ming, S is Tian Yi, and etc. Does that mean it is good for me to face SE, Fu Wei, and bad for me to face NE, Jue Ming, but not meaning it is good fo me to stay SE or bad to stay NE. Please clarify.

Good for you to stay at SE and bad to stay NE. You can stay at SE and face the auspicious directions.  If you have no choice but to stay at NE you can still choose to face SE and this will minus off some of the bad.

So, 8 mansions for personal life kua is not only acting as direction we are facing  but also locations we might stay in, too. Just make sure to facing in my own good direction if only can stay at the bad sector categorized in my own kua.

If you have no choice but to stay at NE (location based on your house kua) you can still choose to face SE (facing based on your personal kua) and this will minus off some of the bad.
