The chart consists of a group of three numbers:
- Left number (Mountain Star): Governs health and well-being.

7/10
7 out of 10: Double stars behind 旺丁不旺才. Favorable for Health.
Double stars behind 旺丁不旺才. Favorable for Health.
- Both Mountain Star and Water Star are at the Sitting (Back) side.
- The front lacks the correct star for wealth.
Results:
- Strong in health and family harmony, but neutral or weak in wealth luck.
It may become weak and unfavorable in wealth when other factors, such as poor external landforms or negative interior Feng Shui, come into play.
Ideal For:
- Homes where residents prioritize health, academic success, or family well-being over financial growth.
Final Thoughts:
A house with Double Stars Behind strongly supports health, family harmony, and personal relationships, making it ideal for those
who value stability and well-being over financial ambition.
However, wealth opportunities is neutral when without additional Feng Shui support. So residents may need to work harder or seek external support to achieve financial goals.
To balance this, consider activating the front sector to enhance wealth luck without compromising the positive energy at the back.

What our Calculator Does?
Our Calculator is a digital tool used to analyze spatial energy (Qi) according to Feng Shui principles.
It helps you to assess the compatibility of spaces - homes, offices, rooms, or even furniture placement - with the goal of
enhancing health, wealth, harmony, and overall life outcomes.
1. Personalized based on your House Period and Facing
- Determines your house Kua - Eight MansionKua Number
- Reveals your Favorable/Unfavorable Sector
2. Compass School (Luo Pan-based)
- Uses the compass direction of a property your house or office (measured in degrees) to map energy sectors.
- Matches Flying Stars or Eight Mansions to the layout.
- Identifies auspicious and inauspicious sectors for current and future time cycles.
- Flying Star requires accurate compass readings and date info.
Importance of Accurate Compass Readings
Many people input generic directions like "South" or "East,"
but Feng Shui works in precise° sectors within the 360° Luo Pan system (24 Mountains).
For example:
South 1 = 157.6° to 172.5° and South 3 = 187.6° to 202.5° - this precision affects Flying Star assignments!
⚠ You must double confirm your info is all correct.
Use a real Luo Pan, or at least a calibrated digital compass with declination correction when using our calculator.
3. Flying Star Chart Generator (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
Calculates the Base Star, Mountain Star, and Water Star based on:
- Construction year of the building - House period.
- Facing direction.
- 20-Year Period (e.g. Period 8: 4 Feb 2004 - 3 Feb 2024 Current Period 9: 4 Feb 2024 - 3 Feb 2044).
- Determines sectors with prosperity, illness, conflicts, etc.
4. Eight Mansions (Ba Zhai) Analysis
- Identifies favorable (Sheng Qi, Tian Yi) and unfavorable sectors (Wu Gui, Jue Ming)
5. Form School Analysis
While usually visual and manual, some tools simulate topography to:
- Assess location of mountains, water, roads,
- Detect Sha Qi (killing energy) from structures like T-junctions, sharp corners
For houses, apartments and offices with irregular shapes, the positions of the flying stars and 8 mansions sectors might shift depending on your interior and floor layout.
It will then go by case by case basis and good judgment need to come from experiences.
6. House Sitting vs. Facing Direction
Some calculators ask for "facing direction," but there's often confusion:
- Sitting : The back of the house (foundation or mountain side).
- Facing : In almost all occasions, the main door.
⚠ Inputting the wrong one will give you inaccurate charts.
7. How BaZi Can Enhance Your Feng Shui Reading
More advanced systems overlay Feng Shui with your personal BaZi chart. Why?
- - A room may have "Wealth Star" flying in, but if your BaZi doesn't favor Fire, placing Fire cures there might backfire.
Current Period 9: 4 Feb 2024 - 3 Feb 2044) "Wealth Star" is 9, 9 is Fire.
- Feng Shui enhancements must support your personal element balance.
So this is when Our Online BaZi Calculator
comes in allow both charts to be analyzed side-by-side for synergy.
8. Date Selection Integration

- Choose auspicious dates for renovations or moving in
- Avoid San Sha, Tai Sui, Sui Po, etc.

Advanced insights and considerations
To round out your understanding of calculator, especially if you're exploring them seriously
or integrating them with BaZi, Tong Shu, or Xuan Kong systems.
1. Dynamic vs. Static Calculators
- Static Calculator only give you the natal Flying Star chart based on the house's construction year and facing direction.
- Dynamic Calculators include Annual, Monthly, or even Daily Flying Star overlays—crucial for
renovation planning, placement of cures, or short-term actions.
We have both the Static and Dynamic Feng Shui Calculators.
If you're making renovations or major decisions, dynamic charts give you real-time energy updates.
2. External Environment Factors (Form School)
No calculator can yet fully simulate:
- Roads, rivers, tall buildings, land elevation, etc.
- Poison arrows (Sha Qi), or whether your home is at a T-junction or cul-de-sac.
Xingfa: External Landform Analysis Still Requires Human Observation
Our Feng Shui Calculator handle Liqi (energy logic), but Xingfa - external forms still requires human observation or
software with satellite mapping (e.g., Google Earth overlays used by consultants).
Warning: Blind Spot at the 24 Mountains Dividing Line
A critical danger zone in Feng Shui lies exactly on the dividing line between any of the 24 Mountains.
If your main door faces this precise line - commonly known as the Blind Spot - it is considered highly inauspicious.
This orientation disrupts directional Qi, attracting misfortune, instability, and serious bad luck for the occupants.
Among all possible door placements, this is one of the worst and should be carefully avoided.
