Apply Feng Shui Birth Element (your daymaster element from your BaZi Four Pillars of Destiny) and FengShui Kua Number.
Many are totally confused when come to birth element and Kua Number. Both have their own different elements, directions or location, etc. What is the difference between personal birth element and Kua Numbers? Birth element 日元 "ri yuan" is from your BaZi which either strong or weak and use to find out your auspicious environment likes color, good location, direction and this is the center of your luck for for entire life. And Kua number is merely to find out your good facing DIRECTIONs.

Whever you want to start "fengshu-ing" your home or office, you have to find out your birth element. Nothing can substitute this step. here is a link where you can find your birth element and you will need to login. To be precise you will need your BaZi chart. Your four pillars of destiny. The chart look something likes in figure 1.

So, the first piece of information you have is your personal feng shui birth element, very helpful to know when creating the most harmonious environment for your type.

The second piece of information is Your Kua number; The Kua number is calculated based on your gender and date of birth. Here is the link to calculate you personal Kua number.. Kua number gives you insight into the best directions from which to receive the most vibrant and nourishing energy for your type.

How do you put these two pieces of information together? Let me help you with basic feng shui suggestions.

Figure 1. Bazi Chart - Day Master Weak Earth Personal Kua number is 7.

Let assume the above Figure 1. is your BaZi chart. Your Birth Element is Weak EARTH, which means both Fire and Earth elements are very nurturing for you (Fire creates Earth in the interaction of the Five Feng Shui Elements). In practical terms, this will include introducing Fire element colors into your environment: Red, strong Yellow, Purple, Pink; as well as your own element (Earth) colors: Sandy, very light Yellow, very light Brown. Actual earthenware objects, for example, beautiful clay pots bring the Earth energy, candles or fiery images bring the Fire energy, etc.

Your Kua Number is 7, which means you are a West group person and receive the best, most vibrant and nurturing energy from the following directions: Southwest, Northwest, West, and Northeast. The way to apply this information is to try to FACE ONE OF THESE DIRECTIONS whenever you can - working in your office, sleeping, or while spending a long time in one spot (i.e. reading, writing, or watching TV.)

Take note that Personal Kua is always FACING DIRECTION AND NOT LOCATION.

Hope that helps and good luck!
