Feng Shui “Funeral-Waiting House” (停喪屋): A Hidden Sha That Brings Repeated Misfortune
Peter Yap |
In Feng Shui, some homes originally enjoy harmony, prosperity and good health. However, when additional
structures are built without proper consideration of the surrounding energy field, the balance of the
property can be disrupted.
A house that once had excellent Feng Shui may suddenly experience repeated illnesses, accidents or
unexpected problems after an extension or new structure is added. The reason is simple: the original
energy field of the property has been disturbed.
The name may sound very inauspicious, but it accurately reflects the symbolism of the structure. I originally did not want to use this term. However, because this type of structure is often overlooked and can cause real harm, I decided to keep the traditional name to raise awareness.
