In BaZi analysis, any forecast must be based on how the annual Ten Gods 十神 interact with the Ten Gods and elements in your natal BaZi Four Pillars and your DaYun (大运 10-Year Luck Pillar). It is not enough to focus on the annual Ten Gods alone. Many BaZi enthusiasts fall into the trap of interpreting the year's energy in isolation, overlooking the critical interactions with the natal chart and DaYun. This approach is known as 6-Pillar Analysis, which combines the BaZi Four Pillars, the DaYun (10-Year Luck Pillar), and the current Year Pillar.
