Dear Master Peter,
I want to change my front door for my house because the current one has glass and solid wood combined. I don't like the see through effect. My house is facing West and the front door is located in the West. Can I change the door to all solid wood? I read west is mental. I was also born in the year of chicken. Do you think it is ok to paint my front door to white, milk color, off white, or cream color because they are all selections of metal colors? Also, is a brown color ok, too because I am thinking to stain brown to see wood grain? However, if a brown color is not ok, I will just have to paint any above color to reflect mental element. Please advise.

Bliss

In general, you need a solid door and the color must not clash with the sector element. At west sector you can have white (metal), milk color or cream color, or brown (earth). Avoid see thru door.
Cheers.

Hi Master Peter,
I want to clarify with you again to make sure that my front door should still
belong at West sector.
As my above question back to April 22, 2017, I told you that my front entry
door is facing West and at West sector after I chart 8 mansions. It should be
correct if the 8 mansions should be charted based on only the house (where is
with wall around). If I chart 8 mansions based on lot size which is square lot
in terms of my house, the front door will be still facing west but in the
center sector. Therefore, I want to double check with you what I think my front
door is at West sector is still correct. I already painted my front door to
White color (Mental sector). White color looks like milky color which is earth
sector (#8 - center). Please confirm if my front door is at west or center
sector. Here is my 8 mansions chart enclosed for my house. The front entry door
is highlighted with circle. The house including is shaped "L". So there are missing part which is
my front yard.

Cannot find the 8 mansions chart that you said have enclosed. Our current system do not allow uploading picture, you will need to store somewhere online, point it here or send to support@skillon.com. Cheers.

Hello Master Peter, Thank you for your reply. I don't set up to store online so I will send the charts to your customer support email separately as you instructed. There are 2 charts because I am not sure whether which chart I should use to determine the location of front door. Chart 1 is the 8 mansions that I chart originally and I always
think it is correct. The front door is facing west as before and now, however,
I am not sure if the location of front entry door should be seen at the west or
center sector. Using chart 1, I told you that my front door is at west sector
back to April 22, 2017. Looking at chart
1 again, I think I might be wrong at the location of front door early on. It should
be at the center, not west sector. Am I right? Chart 2 is the 8 mansions that I
just chart this morning. All areas are
connected to the main house and fully enclosed are charted in 8 mansions
accordingly. You provided me of this knowledge back to Sep 10, 2016. But, 8 mansions I chart for the downstairs
floor and 3rdfloor on chart 2 felt and looked awkward to me.
Now, my question is which 8 mansion chart is correct? If
chart 1 is right, the front door is facing west 2 and should be at the center
sector. Am I right? If front door is at the center, should I change my front
door from white to creamy or ivory color or milky color (earth)? If chart 2 is right, the front door is facing
west 2 and at the west sector then I can keep white color. Please help me
clarify and advise. Thanks. Bliss

Chart 2 is the correct one. For each floor, the ground floor, 1st floor and second floor you need to draw a separate 9 sectors using the same facing as your ground floor. Cheers.

Hello Master Peter, Thanks for your advice of charting every floor separately. It is good to double check with you again, or
I definitely use the wrong knowledge to chart 8 mansions for my house. As complex as the house style which is tri-level (not really
a regular 3 floors style), there is still one more question on chart 2 for 8
mansion grid chart for the main floor area. I included downstairs floor family
room into this main floor 8 mansion chart. Is that ok? If each floor should be charted
separately, is that alright to include downstairs family room into main floor’s
8 mansion chart or should I use chart 3 which I chart today for only those
rooms in main floor area (not including downstairs family room)? To be easy to see what my issue is and the structure of my
house. I send several photos separately to the email of support@skillon.com Chart 2 (from yesterday): I circled main floor area with
yellow highlighter. Chart 3: a 8 mansion chart including only those rooms on
main floor area. I circled this whole area with yellow highlighter. 3 pictures document for the main floor area and its
associated areas inside my house. I write down some remark. (following the file
of Chart 2) 3 pictures for my house (PDF) Hopefully it will be very clear to see and put everything
together. Please help me clarify my confusion. Thank you. Bliss

Hi Master Peter, Early on today my question in response back to your confirmation of
that chart 2 is the right 8 mansion chart for main floor area (front door
location) seems not very explicit. It is hard. I will try again here. The foundation of my main floor areas is raised up from 1st
floor (ground floor) basically. So the left borderline of main floor areas (if stand
inside looking out from the front door) is where the kitchen rails and up &
down stairs (see the photos enclosed). Therefore, for this main floor area, it should
be charted up to kitchen rails and up & down stairs and the right 3 grids of 8 mansions for main floor will
fall in SE – kitchen, S - entry, and SW – front door like I
chart on Chart 3. So, Is chart 2 or chart 3 correct for main floor? If front door is at earth sector (SW)? Can I use white color for front door or have to change to cream color? Thank you. Bliss

Hi Master Peter, I have not received your reply. First, sorry for asking so many
times for the same question. But, Chart 2 sent on Oct 25 by me was not marked
with up & down stairways comprehensively so I am afraid missing this part
can mislead you thought the first floor area is beyond kitchen and entry area.
In fact, the first floor area is up to the wall of kitchen and entry
only. Sorry my original email and drawings
were kind of blurry. That is why I sent another email later with chart 3 to
clarify. Per your advice Oct 26, 8 mansions on chart 2 for the
ground and second floor is very clear and no confusion to me at all. My
question is only for main floor which is first floor: Is chart 2 or chart 3 I
should finally and really use for 8 mansions for this floor? I think all charts in the past few
days I sent to you used different names each time for the same floor. I
made it very confusion. Let me record finally like the following: House: tri-level Ground floor: where the driveway
leading up to (previously I marked this floor as downstairs on chart 2) First floor: Living room and kitchen
(previously I marked this floor as either main floor or raised up first floor
on chart 2 and chart 3) Second floor: 3 bedrooms and 2
bathes (previously I marked this floor as third floor on chart 2) Secondly, It was my fault that
I didn’t send all 3 charts at one time and explain more explicit in first
original email, and I knew I asked Master Peter too much time to look at my
case. However, please help me one more time on this issue and advise me
of the above question. For your information, I personally think chart 2
is still the one to use but I am not 100% sure. So please help me. Thank you
very much. Bliss

As much as I would like to help, in many occasions, in this
free forum, I cannot answer all questions especially very specific questions
which I need to go through the entire process of FengShui. Cheers.

Hi Master Peter, Thanks so much for your reply. You do help people a lot with
this free forum which I read very often and clarify lots of questions even not
asked by me for whom anyone cares. It is very much appreciated. When I examined again to make sure the color of front door, I
learned your advice that each floor needs to draw a separate 9 sectors using the
same facing as ground floor. So I looked
again all my three floors of my house, particularly first floor where the entry
door is. For the first floor, I am not very
sure which kind of 9 sectors I drew is correct? Just want to make sure which I
chart is correct. Here are chart 1 and chart 2. I send to support@skillon.com
Can you please advise which I should use, chart 1 or 2? On both charts, the
first floor is in green highlighter line and whole area is circled within
yellow highlighter. The 9 sectors are drawn in blue pen line. (The old question I described several
times so far was very confusion and long-winded, not decisive in what my issue is) Thank you very much in advance. Bliss

The question is how your first floor separated from your ground floor. If there is a wall separating them and you can only access first floor through the stair, then use chart2. Cheers.

Hi Master Peter,
Thanks very much for your advice. You are very good to read People's Feng Shui
issues. Only a simple point answers my puzzle.
Yes, there is a small wall with kitchen rails underneath the wall in the first
floor to separate from ground floor. We can look ground floor's family room
through rail slots but we can only access between first floor and ground floor
through the stairs in the house. Your advice is the key and very significant to
resolve my puzzle of how to draw a tri-level floor's 9 sectors.
Best Regards,
Bliss
