Part 2. Energy "QI" that represented by numbers.

Beside to manifest itself in visible structures such as landscapes and buildings, energy can also take invisible forms. Thus, Feng Shui works not only with visible structures but also with the invisible energy of a particular location at a given time. On the outside, energy vague freely, but when a building is built, it traps or captures the energy of the space it occupies. This encapsulated energy or Qi has the following characteristics:

  • Two space dimensions, determined by the direction on the front and back of the building

  • A dimension of time, determined by the year when the construction of the building finishes.

  • With these factors to dictate the type of energy that belong to each part of your house. By using the principles of the Ba Gua, Space and Time dimensions of a house, a method called the system of Flying Stars - Xuan Kong - was formed, which makes it possible to discover and to evaluate the invisible energy or Qi which lies in the house.

By knowing the direction of the building, it is then possible to plot the chart of the flying stars. It goes further and divides each one of the eight directions into three: from which the 24 Mountains come, each one of 15º. For example South we have South 1, South 2 and South 3.

The system of flying stars is based on a grid divided into 9 equal parts, 3 X 3 grids, called the nine palaces. Each cell have three numbers, and when the grid is superimposed on the plan of a house, the numbers tell us what kind of energy is flowing in each site.

Each cell of palace contains three numbers or flying stars. The small numbers on the left is called Mountain star, it influences human halth and harmony. The mountain star should fall in a solid, high, enclosed and preferably quiet locations such as bedrooms inside a house. The numbers on the right are called 'water stars' also known as the facing stars and govern wealth and prosperity. These small numbers move in the same pattern as the Lo shu diagram. In general, one should note that a prosperous water star is best found in a mobile, fluid or active location, such as the front entrance, the living room and the open spaces of the building.

Each number or "star" symbolizes a specific energy. The 9 stars are:

The various combinations that happened make it possible to foresee the potentialities which will be really active only if "they are activated". The principal help consists in reinforcing a mountain star by a "mountain", artificial or natural. And a water star by water, artificial or natural. It is necessary to activate stars only if those are favorable. Otherwise, an wrong activation can give place to a disease or an unpleasant event.

The balance between wealth, ruled by the water stars, and health, ruled by the mountain stars, must be awared and respected.

The quality of the Qi depends on the time dimension every 20 years, a new star becomes the leader period star Since February 4, 2004 until February 3, 2024, we are in a period 8, named Zuo Fu, star eight, element earth. The star seven, which governed since February 4, 1984 until February 3, 2004, is disappearing.

The star seven is normally malevolent, but, during the period 7, it was favorable. It became immediately unfavorable when reach Feb 4 2004; many houses, relatively favorable for period 7, saw their characteristics radically changing in 2004. For the construction or the purchase of a house, it is important to take into account the current period and the next period.
