BaZi: Each Ta Yun controls 10 years.Monday, 12 November 2012 |

There have been some confusion regarding how many years a particular Ta Yun controls. Some said STEM controls the first 5 years and BRANCH controls the next 5 years.
Now let me show a case which can tell you the answer. I have discussed about his education in my previous article dated Tuesday, 6 November 2012. Now let see our friend here. In order to protect his identity his BaZi is not shown. 
Chart 1. His first Ta Yun. He is a “Jia Zhuan” Fire daymaster. Now look at his 10 years in his first Ta Yun. 
Chart 2. His 10 years in his first Ta Yun. If STEM controlled the first 5 years, he will not be able to excel in his study from 1982-1986. But the truth was he did very well. If BRANCH controlled the next 5 years, he will have performed very well from 1987 to 1991. But the fact was his results were not good and deteriorated. Now the conclusion is “Each Ta Yun controls 10 years and we must look at Stem and Branch as one.” You just cannot look at stem alone or look at branch alone. |
