Hi Master Peter, I read your website regarding "How to apply Eight Mansions Feng Shui". You made an example to explain the connection between 8 house mansions and personal life kua. The example is Jue Ming at North/water element for house facing NE1 is unfavorable to person's life kua Li/fire element because water controls fire. However, perhaps I misunderstood, I thought water controls fire, water is weakened. Can you explain which is correct? Thanks very much. Regards, Bliss

Control or suppress means clashes. Clashes are always bad. Instead of control/suppress it is better to weaken/exhaust. When water control/suppress fire, both are weakened. If water is bad use wood and if fire is bad use earth. Control or suppress only when no other choices. Cheers.

Hello Master Peter, Thanks you very much for teaching so much useful knowledge for 5 elements connection. Instead of using control/suppress (clash), we should weaken the bad qi. From five transformation of 5 elements, water produces wood, water is weakened. So, how about water is destroyedby earth , water is harm. Does Feng Shui often use "destroyed" to weaken the bad qi or sector? Regards, Bliss

We often refer as suppress not destroy because the winner might be the one being suppressed. Earth will suppress water but too much water will see earth float in water. Their strength are very important. Cheers.
