I am reading about the direct resource star shining at the month branch. I am trying to look at my son's chart. His day master is Ji Earth. Heavenly stem on earth branch is Bing Fire which I read represents the mother (me). According to this book, when the direct resource star at the month branch is 'clashed' or 'subdued' it indicates the mother will likely have "DEMISE IN THEIR YOUTH"?! In the Month column, there is no Yi Wood (there is a Yi Wood in the hidden stems in the day column of the natal chart). However, moving into his next decade starting age 16, there is a Yi Wood in the hidden stem.
So is this clashing and does this point to my "demise" in his youth? This is scary!
